Betty was a member of the ladies' Coffee ☕ Club. Mom (Marlys Mattingly) had coffee often on Saturday morning since she worked during the week. Betty was always so nice to me (all of us kids). She and Bill would also come over together for the evening coffees. We kids were classmates with their children: Jim (Betty), Vickie (Jane&JoAn), Mark (Hubert/Matt), so we were at some functions together, but we had different interests. Betty was a kind person that will be missed. My husband, Hal, worked with Bill at the Salina Journal. (Jane Mattingly Kelley Peterson)
