Obituary of David Eric Larson

David Eric Larson was born April 15, 1950 in Lindsborg, Kansas to Gene L. and LaVerne G. Larson.

David graduated from Lindsborg High School and Bethany College. He lived and worked throughout his life in Kansas, Colorado, Hawaii and Minnesota. 

David was employed for many years at the Swedish Country Inn and the Swedish Crown and Vasa Club, Lindsborg. He enjoyed working with his hands, taking on projects, and was passionate about Lindsborg and its rich history and Swedish roots.

David’s parents, Gene and LaVerne Larson, preceded him in death. 

David is survived by his sister, Becky (Carl B, deceased) Anderson; brother William (Ann) Larson; step son Brennan Capellas; son Micah (Jaclyn) Larson; nephew Michael Anderson and his son, Jaron Brown; niece Megan Willich (Jarrod) and their children, Beckett and Kaisa Willich; and nine grandchildren.

There will be a private burial preceding a Celebration of Life service at 2:00 p.m., August 8, 2019, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, Kansas.

Gifts in David’s memory may be made to the Smoky Hill Cemetery, Lindsborg, Kansas.
