My deepest sympathy for your loss. May you find comfort in Jehovah God’s promise to swallow up death forever and soon end all our suffering. (Rev. 21:3-5; Isa. 25:8) Peace to you during this difficult time.

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.

We were so sorry to see Mildred has passed. We hadn’t heard until we read in the paper. Many memories growing up as your neighbor. For us, Mildred always had a smile and always showed interest in how you were doing. She was really missed after she retired from the store and left our area. Please know we care and know it is never easy losing a parent.

My thoughts and prayers are with each of you of Mildred's family at this sad and difficult time. She was a delight to know and to be served by her when she worked at the store in Anton and to know that her career at the store began as a teen when she worked for Philip's Uncle Ovid Shirley when he had the store - then the Airline Store. I always chuckled that she called everyone 'kid' regardless of one's age even those close to her in age. She was missed when she retired and moved to Kansas. Thanks be to those who kept in touch with her and then kept everyone else updated. With wintry weather and icy conditions I always think of her as I enter and leave the store remembering the time she fell and received an injury helping a customer get purchases to their vehicle. She was a special person and will truly be missed. Blessings!
