He was a very good man and a terrific classmate. We graduated together from Lindsborg High School in 1967. I admired his longstanding commitment to his community. I am sure he will be missed by many. May God give him eternal rest. My heartfelt condolences to his loved ones.

I enjoyed working with Chris at KLMS in Lincoln, NE. for several years. Chris was a creative, energetic and good man who loved the radio business. Our families prayers are with the Abercombie.

We are saddened to learn of your loss of Chris. We worked with Chris at KLMS Radio and at Professional Media in Lincoln, Nebraska. Chris was a multi-talented and creative broadcaster who contributed greatly to the operations. Additionally, he exhibited his cheerful, engaging personality with peers and clients. During a recent phone conversation he expressed his optimistic attitude toward his then current stage of life.
