Obituary of Dylan Soukup

Dylan Charles Soukup, 16, of Lindsborg, was killed in an automobile accident October 25th. Dylan was born September 2, 1994, the son of the late Alvin Soukup Jr. and Tammy Wolf at Hays, KS. He was an athletic teenager, starring in all of his sports. He loved football and track, but basketball was his passion. He was a well-rounded young man, and the life of the party. Dylan always made a strong first impression and touched everyone's lives. He was a sophomore at Smoky Valley High school. He was an amazing son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend. Dylan's father, Alvin Soukup Jr. preceded him in death. Survivors include his mother and step father, Monte and Tammy Wolf of the home, sister, Jade Soukup of the home, grandparents, Kenneth and Gloria Pasek of Canton, Jon Hansen of Garden City, Alvin Sr. and Anita Soukup of Dorrance, Beverly and Richard Wolf of Lincoln, and a very special friend Jordan Sherwood. Visitation will be Friday from 5-7pm with a Rosary following at 7pm at St. Joseph Catholic Church, McPherson. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, McPherson, at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, October 30. He will be laid to rest next to his father at 2:30 pm at St. Joseph Cemetery in Dorrance, KS.
