What a beautiful memorial service. Thank you for sharing Dylan's biography in his own words. I'm humbled by the kind of person Dylan grew to be. Monte, Tammy and Jade - I saw your reflection in him today. The kindest and tender hearted people I know. Dylan will be missed. I'll do my part with Jamie, Jeremy and Joshua to honor his memory and keep Dylan's spirit alive. I told Jeremy he looked like his cousin Dylan in his KU baseball cap last night - Jeremy put his head down and smiled. I love you so. Jen

Dear Soukup family, You do not know me, but I had the pleasure of knowing Alvin through his computer work in our District Court. I always enjoyed chatting with him, he had a love of his family and music. I was so saddened at his tragic death and cannot comprehend that you have now lost your precious Dylan, too. He sounds like a boy his dad would have been so proud of, and you must hold on to the faith that they are now together with their Maker in His heaven. May God be with you all.

Dear Tammy, Jade, Al and Anita, and families: Please accept my sympathy to all of you during this utmost difficult time. When Rosie told me at work, my heart just started to weep. You have been through so much in life. It just seems as though life isn't very fair. She also told me today more infomation, and so now I think sometimes God does take his favorites home to Heaven for a reason. We are put on this Earth for reason, maybe God saved him from all the pain and suffering he would have to go through with the tumor they found on his kidney. Nobody really knows. But I do have alot of faith in the Lord, and I do believe God will take good care of him, he will be with his dad up in Heaven. They will both be Angels, watching through the floors of Heaven, and they both with be with each one of you in spirit. Try to remember the memories. Talk about those good memories, it helps heal the broken heart. At least it will help soothe it. I am praying and keeping all of you my thoughts and prayers, It is never easy to lose a loved one, especially so young, I give all of you my deepest sympathies. May God Bless you always. Annette Wooldridge

Dear Tammy, It is with heartfelt sympathy that I write this. Even as a 2nd grader, Dylan was one of those students that touched my life in so many ways. As I read the notes about his life, I couldn't help but think, "Yes. That is the Dylan we loved and knew in Hays." My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time.
