William Richard Chestnut, 65, of Lindsborg, passed away September 14, 2014.
He was born in Eldon, Iowa, March 28, 1949, the son of Floyd and Edith Chesnut.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
William leaves behind many loved ones, including his wife, Denise, son, Jason of Lindsborg, daughter, Kimberlee Chestnut - Chang of Woburn, Mass., a brother, David Chesnut of Lovilla, Iowa, a sister, Rose Engelhardt of Austin, Minnesota, and two grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 17 from 5-7 pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, September 18, at the St. Bridget Catholic Church in Lindsborg. Inurnment will follow at the Smoky Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for the American Legion or the Wounded Warriors in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
