Time will not fade the memories that I have of Dave. Some of the happiest memories I have with Dave are the ones of him playing and enjoying his Sara and Barry in Steamboat. Simple times of a impromptu sand castle being made in the makeshift horse shoe pit. Or the pocket full of candy he always had for the kids. Children and family brought him much joy, he often shared antidotes of when he was the only boy growing up with 2 sisters. Dave had such a good heart, the spirit of his life will forever live with me. I am sad for all of you
Dave was a very special person, so kind, funny, talented and most of all a true friend. As I sit here and read letters he wrote me when he first left for college in 1983 I think of all the great times we had by the bonfire or hanging out at the house on Army Trail and I am a lucky person to have been his friend and he will leave a life long imprint on my life. As I write this I'm looking a sketch he had drawn of himself that would be at the end of each letter and his closing words were "Say High to everyone" "Take it Easy & God B/W/US All!" I'll see you again my friend - Peace
