Helen Florence Moffitt was born in December 1917, and passed away March 19th 2012. She had been a resident at Riverview Estates in Marquette after moving there early in 2008 from Vero Beach, Florida. She was born in Topeka, Kansas to Oscar and Amelia Adell and lived her childhood years with her parents and sister, Mildred Elvira, in Marquette, KS. A short time later, her family moved to a permanent home in Dallas, TX. There she completed her schooling and worked as a model for the Neiman Marcus store in Dallas, Texas.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Reuben Moffett, of Dallas and sister, Mildred Ayers of Vero Beach, FL.
Survivors include many cousins of the Charles & Augusta Adell family. This family was originally of Marquette, KS.
Burial will be at Laurel Land Cemetery, Dallas, TX.
Memorials may be designated for Riverview Estates in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
