Helen and Reuben lived a few houses down from my family while I was growing up back in the late 70's - 80's. They both took my sister and I in as their own because they had no children of their own. They brought us much joy in our lives. I remember after Rueben passed away that Ms Moffitt as we called her moved far away from us. We still kept in touch with her while she was in Florida thru letters and occassional phone calls, but she will forever be part of my memories growing up. RIP Ms Moffitt. I love you!!!
