I loved Dave. He talked About his boys often. I gave him hope. That was my only role in his life. He saw Hope.

I am saddened to read that David passed away. He was a nice guy and a good police officer who was very patient with the people he worked with. He will be missed.

Dave was a classmate of mine in Ness City. I lost track of Dave sometime ago, but remember him as being a very special person back in high school. One of my foundest memories of Dave was being in serveral plays with him. He was a good actor and all of us had such fun times together rehearsing and presenting the plays. Sending prayers your way to help all of you through this difficult time. With sympathy, Susan (Bean) Klitzke

Dave was the first police chief I hired as a young city manager. He was one of the most thoughtful, intelligent, caring people I have ever met. His unique personality and humorous ways made him a friend and confidant immediately. I hated to see him leave Wylie, but he knew he had to go after his dream. I will always remember me, Dave and Shan out on the golf course. What a great guy, who left us way too early. My deepest condolences to his family, and my thoughts and prayers are with you.

From the Nowak family; we want to express our deepest sympathy to our friends, Patti and Linda, and all the of Brungardt family. And to your dear mother, my heart breaks for her. Our fond memories of Dave while you lived in Gorham, are still remembered; we talk about the guitar Masses and CYO events, and fun school years...great memories! I remember a great guy with an infectious love of life; he had a great laugh. I've thought of him many times over the years, and wonder how he was. He is remembered in our thoughts and prayers, as is your families. God Bless you all. We love you. Marilyn (Nowak) Labinski, Vernetta (Nowak) Hammersmith, John Nowak, and Kay (Nowak) Schmitt
