David will be missed by so many people as he touched so many lives in the community, church and with his devotion to his Family. David was a soft spoken, farmer, dad, husband, christian and a great friend to me and many others. I only hope I was as a good a friend to him as he was to me from day one in 1972. I saw the very same side of my good friend when it came to dealing with this horrible disease, soft spoken, courageous, determined and very brave thru it all. I will miss David forever but, I am so glad that Denise and he were such a part of my life for nearly 40 years. God bless you my friend, you fought the battle and only because God has a plan were you taken from us and in that I can find some peace with our loss of David at this time of his adult life. I pray that Denise and his Family can find comfort in knowing others felt this as well too and I will always be there for them in the years to come. David - Delta Tau Delta brother....GO CATS! (That Baylor win I know was for you yesterday!!)
