Brendon Edward Sneath, 39, of Kansas City, MO, formerly of Marquette, passed away June 19, 2011, after a courageous battle with esophageal cancer.
He was born April 29, 1972, the son of Eddie and Sherry (Swisher) Sneath in Sterling, Kansas.
Brendon was an avid sports fan who enjoyed playing golf, bowling, fishing, and gambling. He was a Royals, Chiefs, and Wildcats fan and loved fantasy sports. After college, he worked in the food industry until changing careers to work on pipeline energy.
He married Susan Nelson on February 8, 2011, in Liberty, MO.
Brendon is survived by his wife; Susie Sneath of Haysville, daughters; Ashley, Kaylee, and Adyson Sharbutt of Haysville, parents; Eddie and Sherry Sneath of Marquette, brother; Brent and his wife Roxie Sneath of Inman, and their children, Flint, CK, and Kassie Sneath, 2 nieces, and 7 nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday from 4-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:30pm Thursday at Marquette United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at Marquette City Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for Cancer Action of Independence, MO or the Brendon Sneath Children's Trust in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington PO Box 386 Lindsborg, KS 67456.
