Susie and family, My heart breaks for you. No words can bring comfort at a time like this, but know that you are in the thoughts and prayers of many. There are no answers at a time like this just questions and wondering what if - we all know how bravely both of you fought to overcome the cancer and if it had been up to you and your love you would have. We all will continue to pray for you and continue our fight to get more research dollars to fight this cancer and increase awareness and get more treatment options so others have a chance. Hugs and prayers, Cindy

I worked with Brendon for a few years at the Salina Red Lobster and share in your lost of a truly friendly and all around good guy. I remember Brendon always thinking things were basically simple and approached situations with a can do attitude. He will be missed.

Susie, You know how much I love you and Brendon, his family and your children. I was blessed to be able to hug him, his mom and dad and you in real time. I loved him through you and your love for him. Words cannot adequately express what I feel right now, but know that you are always lifted up in prayer-as is the family-some of whom I've met and others yet to meet. You are in my heart and I'm confident that Brendon is in a place where this kind of earthly turmoil does not exist and becomes meaningless. All of us, eventually, will be gathered again-together-in His Kingdom, where sorrow and pain do not exist. It no longer exists for Brendon-but we are here, railing against it. I am here for you-even across the miles, as He is in your presence, even now for He promises never to forsake us. Love u.

My thoughts and prayers to each of you. Brendon was a "smiler" and such a joy to work with, even though it was long distance most of the time. Every day we have is a blessing and Heaven just keeps getting sweeter and sweeter. Take joy in those memories of Brendon.

Our hearts go out to your family. It is never fair with this illness of who they take and when they take them from us. Just know in your heart that the pain he was going through is gone and he is no longer suffering. Give yourself time to heal now because it does not leave you with answers, but more questions. Only time can heal your broken heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with all your family.
