Mrs. Briggs was a wonderful teacher. When my family moved from California to Topeka in 1993, my youngest was in the 2nd grade and Mrs. Briggs was his teacher. He did not know how to read. She asked if she could keep him after school to try to help. She went out of her way to make sure he was caught up. I am sincerely sorry for your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers. Just know, she was a very well loved teacher by this family.
