We were so sorry to learn of James's death! We first met James when we lived in Topeka and knew his Uncle Carroll in Historical Society in McPherson. Enjoyed James on Facebook and previously enjoyed meals at Restaurants with him, especially Montana Mikes. James is close to the age of our son, Ken, but we considered him as a good human being and exchanged Christmas cards/ Letters. So sorry we won't be doing that this year. Our sincere Sympathy to his family! Did not learn of his death until All Saint's Day recognition at First United Methodist Church recently.
Deepest Sympathy,
H. Dean and Esther Cotton

I always enjoyed chatting with James on facebook and reading his inspirational posts. I know many others who enjoyed reading them, as well as seeing the wonderful photos he would post. He was always uplifting and positive, even with all of the negativity in our current world. I pray he knew how many people looked forward to seeing what he would post. He gave many people a boost when they were feeling down and provided a positive start to their day. He was a classmate and friend and my prayers are with his family. Rest peacefully, James.
