Jeffrey Dean “Jeff” Scott, 66, of Roxbury passed away Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at Salina Regional Health Center. Jeff was born July 23, 1954 in Salina, KS to the late Aldon “Scottie” and the late Retha (Anderson) Scott.
Jeff married Amy Johnson on October 14, 1973 in Roxbury. He was the owner and operator of Scott’s Well Service. Jeff was also a past member of the township board and the water and sewer board for Roxbury.
He is survived by his wife: Amy, of the home; daughter: Nicole Birkes of McPherson, KS; son: A.J. Scott (Diedre) of Roxbury, KS; sisters: Jolene Hilty of McPherson, KS, Janis Ellis of Lindsborg, KS, Jill Scott of McPherson, KS, and Jazell Bersuch of McPherson, KS; brother: Jay Scott of Roxbury, KS; grandchildren: Kirk Barnes, Mia Birkes, Zane Scott, Hank Birkes, Tinley Scott, Wyatt Scott, and Emily Flora; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
Jeff is preceded in death by his parents and sister: Jennifer Jantz.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 5, at Crick-Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m., Tuesday, April 6 at Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury, KS.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family for the education of Jeff’s grandchildren. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
