I met Ellva for the first time about 7 years ago. We shared the same great grandmother. Elba was such a lovely lady and my sister and I traveled from Washington to Kansas twice to see Elva and had the best time with her. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My sincere sympathy to cousins Larry and Lowell and the entire Henne family. Elva will be missed, such a lovely lady. Rest in peace Elva.

I am so sorry to hear of Elva Mae's passing. After she went to Lindsborg I missed her not walking down the alley behind my house on her way to the post office. When I saw her we would always chat for a little bit. She was always so sweet to me.

A person could not have asked for a better aunt . She was probably one of the most compassionate and caring person I ever met. When I was a kid she would always treat me with fresh homemade bread and warm cookies. I remember two different times where she protected me from rattlesnakes in her yard by chopping them up with a garden hoe. She wouldn’t harm a good snake but didn’t waste any time chopping up a rattlesnake. She was a beautiful person!
