Paul Train, age 77 of Lindsborg, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 1st, 2020. Paul is survived by his loving wife Sally of 33 years, his brothers Donovan and Sam, his children Vicki, Kevin, Diane, Richea, and Jordy, grandchildren Katrina, Nathan, Alex, Braxton, and Maxxum, and one great grandchild, Elidia. He is predeceased by his parents and his son, Drew. Paul was born on May 31, 1943 in Lindsborg, Kansas to Emory and Marjorie Train. Paul worked as a farmer and cattleman for the majority of his life. In retirement, Paul was the main caretaker for the Elmwood cemetery in Lindsborg for more than 10 years. Paul was always known as a hard and devoted worker through many channels. Paul was also a deeply devoted Christian man who loved his family and the entertaining adventures he and Sally had together. Paul loved to listen to hymns, one of his latest favorites being “How Great Thou Art” rendition by George Beverly Shea. Paul was a gentle, kind loving soul who made great, lasting impressions on everyone he met and enjoyed all the new relationships he made throughout his life. The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to all of the medical workers and friends that showed such respect and care for Paul as he battled with health issues. He will be buried at the Elmwood Cemetery on Tuesday, November 3rd, at 10:30am. When times are easier, and larger gatherings can happen again, a celebration of Paul’s life will be announced.
