Obituary of Rosa Doris Brock

Rosa D. Brock, of Lindsborg, passed away August 7, 2019.

 

Rosa was born January 12, 1922 in Sheridan County, to Robert and Elsie (Andrews) White.

 

On August 1, 1942, she married William C. Brock. They lived in Jennings, KS, until 1962 at which time they moved to Garden Grove, CA. Upon retirement, they moved back to Jennings. In 2000, after the death of her husband, she moved to Lindsborg to be closer to family. Rosa was very creative and taught arts & crafts classes in CA. She loved to cook, crochet, embroider, quilt, read and visit.

 

Survivors include her sons, William (Carolyn) of Lindsborg, Robert (Darla) of Enfield, CT., five grandchildren – Chris (Marcia) of Manhattan, Chip (Kymberli) of Wasilla, AK., Clint (Jennifer) of Garden City, Coby (Jennie Frost) of Anchorage, AK., Casie Patry (Martin) of Enfield, CT., and seven-great grandchildren – Katlynn, Kylie, McKinley, Trevin, Alexa, Chase and Carson. She is also survived by sisters Frances Keith of Redlands, CA, Ramona Ball of Eureka Springs, AR., Alice Denk of McPherson, and Elizabeth Legere of Hays and many other family members.

 

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, an infant granddaughter, three brothers, Robert, Fred, Ted and two sisters, Dorothy Taylor and Kay Rueschhoff

 

Celebration of Life services will be held at 2:00P.M. August 10, 2019 at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, KS.

 

Memorials to: Lindsborg Hospital Auxiliary and Jennings United Methodist Church. Memorials may be sent in care of Crick-Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
