Obituary of Paul Miles Gentine

Paul Miles Gentine, 77, of Lindsborg passed away Saturday, August 3, 2019 at Bethany Home.  Paul was born April 3, 1942 in Ft. Monroe, VA to the late Paul William and the late Helen (Miller) Gentine. 

Paul married Muriel Swank on August 2, 1964 in Gaylord, KS. Paul earned his Master’s degree and was the recipient of several honorary doctorates.  He was a Professor Emeritus at Bethany College. 

He is survived by his wife: Muriel; sons: Paul W. Gentine II (Terri) of Clarksville, TN, and Scott F. Gentine (Lynn) of Topeka, KS; brother: Marc Gentine (Sue) of Friendswood, TX;  as well as grandchildren: Paul F. Gentine, Elizabeth Himmelberger (Keith), Mikayla Gentine, Jessica Gentine, and Nathan Gentine.

Paul is preceded in death by his parents, and brother: Carl Gentine.

Visitation will be Tuesday, August 6 from 9:00AM - 11:00AM at Messiah Lutheran Church, 401 N. 1st St., Lindsborg, KS.

The funeral will follow at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 6 at Messiah Lutheran Church, with Rev. Amy Truhe officiating.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
