To the Family of Max James - My parent's are Joe & Anita Shelton from Brashear, MO and were dear friends of both Max and Virginia/Jesse Shahan and we express our condolences and sympathy at the news of his passing. My Mother, Anita Shelton passed away March 1, 2019 at the age of 89. All of my life I have heard of and been acquainted with the James family and I remember Owen & Irene as well. They were always good people and I recall visiting with Max at times that he would come to Brashear and visit the church that was so important to them. Also, I gave notice to JoAnn (Hammontree) Foster and the Hammontree Family also wishes to extend their deepest sympathy as well. God Bless You and be with your during your time of grief!
