Obituary of Gary L. Johnson

Gary Leon Johnson, 80, of Lindsborg passed away Sunday, January 20, at McPherson Health and Rehabilitation.  Gary was born November 2, 1938 in Lindsborg, KS to the late Walter G. and the late Marie C. (Soby) Johnson. 

Gary was a lifelong farmer and rancher.  He was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church and a past Boy Scout troop leader.  Gary was an avid fisherman, hunter, traveler, and outdoorsman.  He loved to travel and camp with his family and with the scouts.  He also had many outdoor trips and adventures with his sons and friends.

He is survived sons:, Brad Johnson of Valley Center, KS, Randy (Susan) Johnson of Wichita, KS, Richard (Becky) Johnson of Lindsborg; and their mother, Ervalene Johnson, of Lindsborg; as well as, grandchildren: Bryant And Brandon Johnson, and Marissa And Lindsey Johnson.

Gary is preceded in death by his parents and his step-mother: Mildred V. Anderson.

Cremation has been chosen and a private family graveside memorial service will be held at Elmwood Cemetery at a later date.
