Obituary of Shirley Jean Defnall

Shirley Jean Defnall, 83, of McPherson passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018 at McPherson Health And Rehab.  Shirley was born September 23, 1934 in Idamar, PA to the late Ben and Margaret (Aljoe) Fulmer. 

Shirley was the widow of Billy Defnall.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in McPherson.

She is survived by daughters: Peg (Jim) Metheny of McPherson, KS, Beverly Swanson (Steve Demopoulos) of Anacortes, WA, and Linda (Todd) Belisle of McPherson, KS;  sister: Maxine Pulou of McPherson, KS, brother: Jim (Laura) Fulmer of GA; as well as 6 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Billy. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25 from 5-7PM at Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 26 at Christians Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Smoky Hill Cemetery.
