Obituary of Delbert Floyd Peterson

Delbert Floyd Peterson, 74, of McPherson died Friday, July 27, 2018 at Harry Hynes Memorial Hospice.  Delbert was born September 8, 1943 in Falun, KS to the late Arthur R and Pearl C (Rupert) Peterson. 

Delbert was a lifelong resident of the Lindsborg area.  He worked his whole life as a farmer and stockman.  He will be remembered as someone who loved children and animals, both pets and his livestock.

He is survived by his brothers: Bobby E. Peterson of Lindsborg, KS, Leon H. Peterson of McPherson, KS, Eugene E. Peterson of Lindsborg, KS, and James Peterson of Lindsborg, KS; sisters: Virginia Patrick of McPherson, KS, and Carol Peterson of Lindsborg, KS;  as well as many nieces nephews and extended family members.

Visitation will be from 5pm – 7pm, Thursday, August 2, at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.

Graveside services will be held 10:00 am on Friday, August 3 at Freemount Lutheran Cemetery, rural Lindsborg, KS with Pastor Gerald Berggren officiating.
