Obituary of Alice Elaine Ringquist

Alice Elaine Ringquist, 84, of Wichita passed away Thursday, May 17, 2018, at her home in Wichita.  Alice was born December 3, 1933 in Hunter, KS to the late Purl and Margaret (Clark) Woddell. 

 

Alice was a graduate of Brown Mackie College and worked as a bookkeeper. 

 

She was the wife of Dean Ringquist.  They were married in Beloit, KS on July 5, 1965.

 

Alice is survived by her husband: Dean, of the home: sons: Mark (Jean) Alft of Wichita, KS, and Bryan Alft of Lewisville, TX; and; daughter: Nadine (Lyle) Hopp of Marshall, TX; 7 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

 

She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Wilford “Jack” Woddell.

 

Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Monday, May 21 at Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS with Chris Bisset officiating.  Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg on Monday, May 21 at 11:30 am. There will not be visitation.

 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association.  Memorials may be sent in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
