I was saddened to hear of Delmar's passing. He is such a wonderful man. I got to know him through the Rotary club where he and my husband Carl were members. Carl and I thought so much of Delmar. His sharing of so many topics, his sense of adventure and caring ways.I especially remember when he shared about meeting his wife. He is truly a special man and will be missed.

I just learned about Delmar's passing today. He was a long time dedicated donor and friend to KPTS Channel 8 Public television here in South Central Kansas. Please know I will be praying for his family and friends at this time of loss.
Delmar was quite a wonderful and much loved educator and friend to the citizens
of Lindsborg KN and others. It was our pleasure to be counted as a friend and traveling companion after meeting on a Russian train experience. One of our
life's most treasured serendipity moments to always remember.
Wish there were more friendly and concerned people on this great planet!

Delmar and me (Betty Cheryl) when he was stationed in TX about 1949-50. He's my first cousin once removed...but he always seemed closer than that. He was remarkable to us even then!
