Obituary of Harvey W. Weis

Harvey William Weis, 75, of Lindsborg, KS passed away March 15, 2018.  He was born June 23, 1942 in Salina, KS to the late Alvin and Charlotte May (Berg) Weis.

Harvey graduated from Lindsborg Rural High School and worked as an over the road truck driver.  He retired from Tony’s Pizza Service after 34 years. He was also a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Lindsborg.

Harvey married Michele Quinn on October 19, 1976 in Reno, NV. 

Survivors include his wife, Michele, of the home; sons, Larry (Susie) Weis, of Lindsborg and J.D. (Jennifer) Weis, of Lindsborg; sister, Cathy (Tom) French, of rural McPherson County; brother-in-law, Ken Swisher; grandchildren, Brittney, Kylie, Braiden, Jaida, Jaron, Jordyn, and Javen; as well as several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Carl Weis, and sister, Virginia Swisher.

Cremation has been selected.  A visitation and reception service will be held from 5:30 p.m.  to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 20, at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.  Private family inurnment will take place at Smoky Hill Cemetery, at a later date.
