Obituary of Bobby Dale Anderson
Bobby Dale Anderson, 91, of Marquette died Thursday, March 15, 2018 at Hutchinson Regional Medical. Bobby was born July 2, 1926 in Galva, KS, to the late John W. and May (Ahlstedt) Anderson.
Bobby was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. He was longtime farmer and the retired manager of the Lindsborg Co-Op and grain elevator. He was the husband of Mary L. Anderson, who precedes him in death.
Survivors include daughters: Deanise (Tim) Howard of Russell, KS, Jody (Greg) Morton of Canton, KS, Debbie (Chuck) Harter of Lindsborg, KS, and Connie (Dean) Frobenius of Reed Springs, MO; son: Bill (Korena) Anderson of Lindsborg, KS; brother, J. Willis Anderson of Canton, KS; as well as 14 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren, and 5 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, son, Richard Lee Cunningham, two brothers, and four sisters.
Visitation will be Monday, March 19 from 5-7PM at Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am on Tuesday, March 20 at Christians Funeral Home, with Pastor Christopher Lee-Curry Carlson, officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Legion Post #140. Memorials may be sent in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
