Marjorie M. Shogren, 85, daughter of Emmett and Myrtle (Borgstrom) Malm, passed away January 13, 2018. She was born March 31, 1932, in Lindsborg, Kansas. She married Norman Shogren on June 4, 1955. They had two children, son Gary and daughter Connie. After the children were grown, she worked for the Swedish American Insurance and Bethany Home.

Preceding her in death are her parents and brother Don. She is survived by her husband Norman, son Gary and his wife Diana, daughter Connie, grandchildren Jeffrey, Cory and Jacob, brother Bertil and his wife Marilyn, cousins and nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed reading, her flower garden, and had a special knack in arranging flowers. Before her eyesight started failing, she knitted many baby blankets and presented them to family and friends. She was an avid K State and Chiefs fan and always wore purple or red on game days.

However, her God and family were always first. She was a very devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
