Dear Stump Family: I worked for Ausherman Manufacturing in Salina, Kansas in the early 1980s. Lee Stump had hired me. I worked along side Mary McConniel, whom I still gratefully am in touch with. I moved from Kansas back to my roots in Pittsburgh, PA in 1984, then back to Montana where I grew up in 1986.
Doris was a very kind, strong woman. I'd only met her a handful of times but I instantly liked her. I still have a beautiful cloisonné pennant she brought back from China when she visited there during my tenure at Ausherman's.
She had a wonderful long life and I pray the family finds many good memories of her through each of the relatives to help with her loss on this Earth. I'm sure she is a welcome sight in Heaven.
