Lois E. Vidricksen Johnson, 88, of McPherson, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 at The Cedars Nursing Home of McPherson, KS.  Lois was born August 6, 1929 in Saline County, Kansas . She is the daughter of the late Thomas Sidney and Leatha D (Roseman) Vidricksen.  She married Raymond W. Johnson on July 31, 1950 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Salina. 

Survivors include her husband: Raymond, of McPherson; daughters: Amy C. (Jeff) Scott of Roxbury, KS and Eloise A, (Steven) Eickstadt of McPherson, KS; sons: Thomas E. (Beth) Johnson of Marquette, KS, Timothy A. Johnson of Branson, MO, Jack R. Johnson of Roxbury, KS, Russell W. Johnson of Canton, KS, and Peter W. Johnson of Atlanta, GA; as well as 21 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren. 

Lois is preceded in death by her parents; son, Clayton L. Johnson; and sisters, Joan Swearingen and Carol Strain.

Visitation will be from 5pm to 7pm, Tuesday, September 5 at Christians Funeral Home in Lindsborg.

Funeral services  will be held 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 6 at Roxbury United Parish, Roxbury, KS, with Pastor Nancy Modine officiating.  Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery.
