It is with deep sadness that we heard the news via Glee about Rick's passing. Lois and Rick have been in my mother's prayers and thoughts for quite a time and she regrets that her disabilities and their disabilities has prevented closer contact. Mom says she has so many fond memories of family get-togethers at the farm where Rick and Lois were so welcoming. I remember Rick letting me drive a tractor in a field when I was probably only 10 and I can still remember the combination of thrill and fear to be in charge of something that big!
