Carole was a friend since childhood. Her mother and my aunt were sisters and the Peterson and Lillian families shared many holidays and other occasions together. Carole and I stayed in touch over the years and we shared many good times. On one of those occasions we camped at the Grand Canyon with her daughter Melanie and my family.Another time we were in Pine AZ at a cabin in the winter when it started to snow. Carole and Melanie were busy making a snowman. Carole had a talent for photography and took pictures at our daughter Kristin's wedding. Melanie was the flower girl.
Carole and her brother Gary took care of our Aunt Mildred after she had a bad accident and was hospitalized in Wichita.
Carole was a good hearted, passionate person who loved her family, friends and her animals. Mary and Charlie
