Terry Wayne Peterson, 64, of Assaria passed away Monday, December 5, 2016 at Salina Regional Health Center. Terry was born February 5, 1952 in Salina to the late Harold and Dorothy (Walsh) Peterson. Terry was a graduate of Southeast of Saline High School. On July 3, 1970 he married Janice Peterson at the Assaria Lutheran Church. Survivors include his wife Janice, of the home; sons, Brian (Joy) Peterson, of Salina, KS, Scott (Christianna) Peterson, of Assaria, and Kevin (Danielle) Peterson, of Assaria; aunt, Dorothy Johnson, of Salina; brothers, Randy (Linda) Peterson, of Caney, KS, Rick (Janet) Peterson, of College Station, TX; sister, Cindy (Dan) Clark, of Kechi, KS; as well as 7 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents. Vistiation will be from 5pm to 7pm, Thursday, December 8 at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m., Friday, December 9 at Assaria Lutheran Church, with pastor Laura Smith, officiating. Interment will follow at the Assaria Lutheran Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lindsborg Hospital or the Assaria Lutheran Church. Contributions may be sent in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N Washington, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
