Robert Allen Loder, 87, of Marquette, passed away August 24, 2016.
He was born October 8, 1928 to William and Edith (Olsen) Loder at Loder Point at Kanopolis Lake.
On October 9, 1949, he was united in marriage to Willa Harwick in Marquette, KS.
Robert was a veteran of the Marine Corps and farmed all of his life. He also worked at Tescott Cheese for twelve years, and Beech Aircraft in Salina for 28 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Arthur and Don, sisters: Elsie Tierney and Lola Jane Rohner.
Robert is survived by his wife Willa of Marquette, sons: Richard Loder (Shirley) of Arlington, KS, Gene Loder (Julie) of Dillon, MT, Greg Loder (Shelly) of Idaho Falls, ID, daughters: Merrilee Loder of Marquette, Roxi Mancoronal (Bill) of Dillon, MT, brothers: Francis Loder (Alene) of Tulsa, OK, Clint Loder (Felistas) of Brookville, KS, LeRoy Loder (Pat) of Lubbock, TX, sister, Leona Hudson (Charles) of Springfield, MO, sixteen grandchildren, thirty-one great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 31, from 4-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, September 1, at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg, with burial following at Marquette City Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for the Marquette Senior Center in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
