Doug Shields, 75, of Lindsborg, passed away June 19, 2016.
He was born Marvin Douglas Shields on May 14, 1941, the son of Francis Marvin and Anna Virginia (Bjorn) Shields in Lindsborg, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Doug is survived by his wife, Patty Shields, son, Stephan Shields, daughter, Karina Van Walkeren (Phil), brother, Mike Shields (Darlene), sister, Janet Lagergren (Sherm), and grandchildren Christopher & Jacinda.
A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 25, at 10:30am at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated for the Salina Animal Shelter in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
