Robert Gene Peterson, 88, of Lindsborg, passed away May 3, 2016.
He was born September 19, 1927, the son of Elmer and Agnes (Smallwood) Peterson in Chicago, IL.
Robert was a Navy veteran of World War II. On June 7, 1952, he was united in marriage to Eloise Terry in McPherson, KS.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Bertice & John Peterson, and sister, Barbara Peterson.
Robert is survived by his wife, Eloise Peterson of Lindsborg, son, Robert Peterson (Cindy), daughters: Elizabeth and Barbara Peterson, brother, Lowell Peterson, and five grandchildren.
Visitation will be Friday, May 6, from 4-7pm with a Rosary Service beginning at 6:30pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am Saturday, May 7, at St. Bridget’s of Sweden Catholic Church, Lindsborg, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg.
Memorials may be designated for St. Bridget’s of Sweden Catholic Church or the Lindsborg Community Hospital in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
