Obituary of Patricia Ann Karstadt

Patricia Ann Sundstrom Karstadt, of Lindsborg, passed away October 31, 2015, at Bethany Home. Patty was a retired elementary school teacher and a life-long resident of Lindsborg. She and her late husband, Steve, were honored by the community in 2003, by being named the King and Queen of Svensk Hyllningsfest. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Felicity Chapter #371 OES, and a 1950 graduate of Bethany College. Patty was preceded in death by her parents, Albertha and Carl Sundstrom, and her husband, Steve Karstadt. She is survived by her son, Bruce, daughters: Blythe and Barbara, as well as granddaughters, Reagan and Tara Jo, great-grandson, Christopher, and their families, and many other relatives and friends. There will be no visitation. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, November 7, at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, followed by a time of fellowship. Private family burial will be held at Smoky Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for Messiah Lutheran Church, Bethany Home, or Bethany College in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N.
