Ione Dauer, 82, of Salina, passed away October 4, 2015
She was born November 27, 1932, the daughter of Walter and Blenda (Olson) Anderson in Assaria, KS.
On December 9, 1950, Ione was united in marriage to Earl Dauer at Salemsborg Lutheran Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three brothers: Stanley, Howard, and Vernal.
Ione leaves behind many loved ones including her husband, Earl of Salina, daughter, Sheryl Starr and husband Mike of Salina, sons: Norman Dauer and wife Donna of Lindsborg, David Dauer and wife Bernie of Falun, Chris Dauer and wife Tina of Falun, six grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 7, from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7 pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
Burial will be October 8, at 10:00 am at Falun Cemetery, with a Celebration of Life following at 11:00 am, Falun Lutheran Church. Casual dress is suggested.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be designated for the Children’s Mercy Hospital of Kansas City, Gentiva Hospice, or Bethany Home, in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
