Lora Lee Swensson, 54, of Wichita, passed away November 16, 2010. Lora was born October 13, 1956, the daughter of Eldon and Louise (Richardson) Swensson , in Wichita, Kansas. She was a lifetime Wichita resident. She was preceded in death by her mother, Louise Swensson, and step-mother, Dorothee Dee Swensson. Lora is survived by her father, Eldon Swensson of Lindsborg, daugther, Leticia Swensson of Wichita, sons, Nathaniel and Christopher Hightower of Wichita, brother, Pastor Eric and wife Joyce Lewis Swensson of New Rochelle, New York, sisters, Elouise and husband Robert Barrus of Yucca Valley, CA, and Lois and husband Tom Adkinson of Nashville, TN, and 3 grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, KS. Private family burial will be held at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg, KS. Memorials may be designated to the family for distribution at a later date in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS. There will be no visitation.
