Cecil Martin Gleason, 96, of Lindsborg, died November 10, 2010 at Bethany Home. Cecil was born May 4, 1914, the son of Harry and Grace (Page) Gleason, in Coburg, Iowa. He worked in management for both Cudahy Packing and Dold Packing of Wichita. He was a member of Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Wichita for over 40 years, and a Navy Veteran of World War II. Cecil married Frances L. Tiren on June 12, 1939, at Stanton, Iowa. She passed away on May 24, 2000. He was preceded in death by a son, Dennis Gleason, and two brothers, Darrel and Donald Gleason. Cecil is survived by his daughter, Sharon and husband Milton Fairbank of Lee's Summit, MO, grandsons, Stacy and wife Jennifer of Broomfield, CO, Christopher and wife Sarah Fairbank of Lee's Summit, MO, great-grandchildren, Annika, Hailey, Gavin Fairbank, nephew, Dr. David and wife Mickey Gleason of Beatrice, Nebraska, and niece, Kay and husband Charlie Hays of Allentown, PA. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday November 15, at Bethany Home Chapel, Lindsborg. Burial will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Lakeview Cemetery in Wichita, KS. Memorials may be designated for Gloria Dei Lutheran Church of Wichita, KS, in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. with family present from 6-7 p.m. Sunday at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. Online condolences at www.christiansfuneralhome.com
