Sandra Rush, 62, of Marquette, passed away at her home on October 24, 2010. Mrs. Rush was born October 11, 1948, the daughter of Loren and Eileen (McDaniel) Rock, in Concordia, Kansas. She was a Marquette resident since 1964, moving from Concordia. She was a homemaker and member of Marquette Methodist Church. On March 12, 1976, she married Jim Rush at McPherson, Kansas, he survives. She was preceded in death by both parents and a sister, Patricia Jane Carver. Survivors include husband, Jim of the home, sons; Terry and wife Kayleen Chaput of Salina, Rick Chaput of Hutchinson, daughters; Becca and husband Bill Brown of Marquette, Denise and husband Lynn Campbell of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, brothers; Raymond and wife Janet Rock of Marquette, Frank and wife Lana Rock of Marquette, sister Lorena and husband Raymond Fraser of Minneapolis, KS, 13 grandchildren, and a great-grandson. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Marquette Methodist Church, Marquette, KS. Burial will be held at Marquette City Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for the family in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm Thursday at Marquette Methodist Church.
