Edna Weibert, 90, of Lindsborg, died August 9, 2010. Mrs. Weibert was born March 15, 1920, the daughter of Isaac and Susie (Ratzlaff) Decker, in rural Durham, Kansas. She was a farmer's wife, and a member of the First Baptist Church in both McPherson and Durham. On April 10, 1938, she married Pete Weibert at Durham Church of God, Durham, Kansas, he passed away December 20, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, Pete, brothers; Wes, Harvey, Clyde, Herman, sisters; Elda Unruh, Virginia Becker, Ruby Unruh, and Bertha Schwauber. Edna is survived by her sons, Larry and wife Pat of Lindsborg, Ron and wife Doris of Durham, daughter, Janet and husband Joseph Bowden of Aurora, CO, brother Howard and wife Francis Decker of Loveland, CO, 7 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Evangelical Covenant Church, Lindsborg, KS. Burial will be held at 2:00pm at Valley View Cemetery, Roxbury, KS. Memorials may be designated for the Evangelical Covenant Church Mission Fund, Bethany Home, or Kansas Bible Camp in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N Washington Street P. O. Box 386 Lindsborg, KS. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7pm Wednesday, at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
