Obituary of William "Billy" Robertson
Please share a memory of William to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
William "Billy" Robertson Jr., 44, of Salina, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2015. Billy was born November 18, 1970 to Bill Robertson and Linda (Stark) Laiso. He grew up in Lindsborg, Kansas where he attended Smoky Valley High and later Fort Hays State University. Billy was an avid reader, devouring books by the age of 4. He loved music, movies, comics, computers, and to his mother's despair, the Denver Broncos.
Billy was a fantastic father, and a wonderful friend to all who knew him. He was welcomed into heaven by his grandparents, Max and Lucy Robertson, and Junior Stark, and leaves behind his 3 children: William, Devin, and Myrissa Robertson; Parents, Bill (Sharon) Robertson, and Linda Laiso; Brother Jim (Ashley) Robertson; Grandmother, R'Lou Hedberg, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
It was Billy's request that you celebrate his life, rather than grieve his passing. His family will receive friends and family on Thursday, February 26, from 4-7pm with family present from 6-7pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Memorial Service will be held Friday, February 27, at 10:00am at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be designated to the American Heart Association in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
