Emma Marie Sundberg, 92, of Lindsborg, passed away Friday, January 30, 2015.
She was born August 20, 1922, the daughter of George and Anna (Engstrom) Palmquist. She married Carl Melvin Sundberg on August 9, 1941.
She was preceded in death by parents; husband; daughter and son-in-law, Nancy and Mike McCullough; granddaughter, Mary Louise Alexander; siblings, Howard and Harris Palmquist, ElVera Anderson and Bonnie Engberg.
Emma leaves behind many loved ones, including daughter, Leah Ann Anderson(Marv), grandchildren Julie and Ty McCullough of Lindsborg; David Anderson (Ann) of Olathe, Joseph Anderson (Barbara) of Breinigsville, PA; 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, February 4, from 5-7 pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 5, at Bethany Lutheran Church. Private family burial will be held at Smoky Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be designated for the church and Bethany Home in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
