Charles Earl "Chuck" Priddy, 66, Lindsborg, passed away suddenly Tuesday, November 4, 2014. He was born January 14, 1948 to Alfred and Jewell Priddy in Lindsborg. He was a lifelong farmer of the Smoky Valley Community. Chuck was a graduate of Lindsborg High School and a veteran of the United States Army having served in Vietnam. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great friend to those who knew him.
Chuck was a big sports enthusiast. He enjoyed watching KU football and basketball and all the local Smoky Valley sports. He had a kind heart and was willing to help anyone in need. He loved spending time with his family and grandkids. Chuck was an excellent cook and could whip up a mean goulash in no time due to his experience in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, nephews; Christopher Carter and Cade Normandin, great-great-niece, Elilyana Marie Kelly, and sister-in-law, Ann Priddy.
He is survived by his daughter, Crystal (JC) Walsh, Phoenix, AZ, and son, Dion (Jaime) Priddy, Lindsborg, grandchildren: Hailey Priddy, Talia Walsh, Breanna Priddy, Marlee Walsh, Dalton Priddy, and Holland Walsh; brother, Curtis Priddy, Lindsborg, and sisters: Joyce Eggers, McPherson; Janet Pyeatt, Mulvane; and Judy Becker, Lindsborg, plus a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be Sunday, November 9, from 5-7 at Christians Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held Monday, November 10, 10:00 am at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg with burial at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg. Memorials may be sent to the family in care of Christians Funeral Home, 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
