Obituary of Henrietta Dirks

Henrietta Hilda Dirks,95 of Lindsborg, formerly Scott City, KS, passed away September 26, 2014. She was born March 15, 1919 at Lodge Pole, NE, the daughter of Louis R. and Caroline (Wagner) Misegadis. On November 20, 1938 she married Harry H. Dirks at Albert, KS. Henrietta has been a resident of Lindsborg since June of 2005, after moving from Scott City, KS. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg, KS. Survivors include a son, Roger L. Dirks (Cindy) of Topeka, son-in-law, Don Anderson of Lindsborg; 4 grandchildren: Greg Anderson (Lori) of Newton, Brian Anderson (Rhonda) of Lindsborg, Renee May (Rich) of Edina, MN, and Marla Dirks of New York City; 25 great-grandchildren and 8 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Harry H. Dirks, daughter Dorene Dirks Anderson, five sisters: Esther Dirks, Leona Dirks, Christina Million, Edna Dirks, and Evelyn Rush, four brothers: Carl Misegadis, Raymond Misegadis, Elmer Misegadis, and Dean Misegadis, and a great-granddaughter, Elyse Anderson. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday at the Christians Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, at the Peace Lutheran Church, Albert, KS. Burial will be in Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Memorials may be designated for Bethany College or Messiah Lutheran Church, Lindsborg and sent to Christians Funeral Home, 103 N.
