Jewell Adeline Priddy, 92, of Lindsborg, passed away August 19, 2014. She was born June 1, 1922, the daughter of Martin Christian and Florence Lydia (Lundquist) Brotherson in Lindsborg, KS. On February 24, 1943, she was united in marriage to Alfred Priddy in Salina, KS. He passed away September 27, 2005. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandsons: Christopher Carter and Cade Normandin, great-great-grandchild, Elilyana Marie Kelly, and daughter-in-law, Ann Priddy. Jewell leaves behind many loved ones including her sons: Curtis Priddy of Lindsborg, Chuck Priddy of Lindsborg, daughters: Joyce Eggers (Richard) of McPherson, Judy Becker (Scott) of Lindsborg, Janet Pyeatt (Rex A) of Mulvane, 10 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, August 22, from 4-7 pm with family present from 6-7 pm at Christians Funeral Home, Lindsborg. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 23, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg, with burial following at Elmwood Cemetery, Lindsborg. Memorials may be designated for Riverview Estates, Trinity United Methodist Church, or the American Legion in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
