Lorene May Whitcomb, 93, of Marquette, passed away May 17, 2014.
She was born March 14, 1921, the daughter of Dean and Letha (Cunningham) Morgan in Elkhart, KS.
On August 21, 1940 she married Warren Whitcomb in Cottonwood Falls, Ks. He passed away on October 30, 1976.
She was also preceded in death by her sons: Leroy Whitcomb and Randall Louis.
Lorene leaves behind many loved ones including three daughters, Julia Ritter of Windom, KS, Letha Goering of Marion, KS, and Janet Cress of Cedar Point, KS, a son, Rick Whitcomb of Shawmut, MT, 16 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be designated for Riverview Estates Nursing Home in Marquette in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
